A Year of Growth: ASQS Bangkok in 2025

Recently, we caught up with Florian Lis-Srajer to reflect on a transformative year for the ASQS Bangkok office that has seen remarkable growth and numerous strategic milestones.

Florian, it’s been quite a year between the team expansion in Bangkok and joining the Comply365 group. How would you summarize these changes?

It’s been incredible. Since September 2024, our team here in Thailand has grown by well over one-third, which is substantial growth by any measure. 2025 has been a transformative year for both the ASQS Bangkok team and the broader organisation following the integration with Comply365. We are scaling our local operations while contributing to something much bigger globally.

How has the team responded to being part of Comply365’s AI-powered platform strategy?

We recognise that AI will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our industry, and we are excited about what lies ahead. Comply365 is pioneering an industry-first, AI-powered platform that unifies operations, safety, and training management. Our safety, risk and compliance expertise aligns naturally with this vision.

What were some key milestones for the Bangkok office this year?

We started with a team workshop in September 2024 that set the foundation for our growth and welcomed new team members.

We also hosted the Advantage Austria team which reinforced our role in the Austrian business community here.

We organized business development trips to Malaysia and Singapore in spring 2025. Locally, our colleague Sirada successfully completed the ICAO Safety Management course in Bangkok, strengthening our technical capabilities. It’s absolutely fantastic to work with such a talented and motivated team here in Bangkok.

The events and customer engagement activities seem to have been particularly active this year.

Absolutely! The User Day on May 28th was definitely one of our highlights, with fantastic support from our marketing team in Vienna. 

We also participated in AP-SAS 2025 in July, which was an excellent platform for engaging with the broader aviation safety community in the Asia-Pacific region. These events demonstrate how we’re not just maintaining but actively strengthening our customer relationships and presence in the region.

On a personal note, you relocated from Austria to Bangkok about a year ago. How has that transition been?

It’s been remarkable. Moving from Austria’s mountain peaks to Thailand’s stunning landscapes was a big change, but the warm welcome from the ASQS Bangkok team made it feel like home quickly. The cultural richness here, combined with the energy and talent of our local team, has been inspiring. It’s been the perfect backdrop for this period of growth and transformation.

Looking ahead, how do you see Bangkok’s role within the broader Comply365 ecosystem?

Bangkok is an important regional anchor for our group in Asia, helping to strengthen our position in the APAC market together with our other offices. The Bangkok office is a center for operational excellence, supported by a strong and motivated local team.

The steady achievements this year, from growing our team to running successful customer events, show that we are building something stable and meaningful in Bangkok. We are ready to play a key role in Comply365’s growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
