Recap 2024: A Year of Growth and Innovation for iQSMS

2024 has been an amazing year for iQSMS and the whole ASQS Community. From record-breaking numbers to exciting innovations and expanding our global reach, we’ve hit some incredible milestones together. Let’s take a look back at everything we achieved this year:
Breaking Records Across the Board:

  • Reports Filed: This year saw a stunning 30% increase in reports filed compared to 2023, with over 600,000 iQSMS reports projected by year-end.
  • Mobile App Usage: Accessibility remains at the heart of our approach, with the iQSMS mobile app now handling over half of all reports consistently, peaking at an impressive 61% usage rate throughout the year.
  • Audit Performance: Audits reached new heights with 37,000+ completed in iQSMS, averaging 124.8 audits daily – the highest rate in ASQS history.

AI Innovation in iQSMS:
By partnering with Lufthansa Industry Solutions and Beams technology, we proudly stand as the first and only aviation SMS provider to offer fully integrated AI capabilities.

  • Ai Co-Validator: Making report processing faster and more efficient, the Ai Co-Validator (LHIND) handled thousands of reports throughout the year, with peak months witnessing nearly 2,000 reports processed via this cutting-edge technology.
  • Ai Co-Analyst: We leveled up iQSMS’ AI tools by adding Beam’s Ai Co-Analyst, a game-changer for data analysis, which we showcased during the Aircraft IT webinar in August.

Community Growth:

  • User Base Expansion: Our community grew to 245,187 users across more than 300 companies, a solid 16.75% increase from last year.
  • Global Presence: 2024 was a year of growth and change for the ASQS team, filled with new beginnings, goodbyes and exciting changes. Jonathan Frey took on the role of CCO, bringing new energy to our global sales efforts and unifying our three global offices, while we said goodbye to Eva Lederhilger as she embarked on new adventures.
    To strengthen our presence in the APAC region, our Bangkok office welcomed new talent across various departments and appointed Florian Lis-Srajer as new Head of Operations. Meanwhile, our Vienna headquarters has also seen exciting improvements, with the addition of talented new team members in legal, sales, support, and development to drive business forward.
  • Industry Engagement: Our team connected with aviation professionals around the world, attending industry events from Rio to Marrakech, and from Canada to Singapore.

Operational and Communication Excellence:

  • Operational Excellence Team: Transforming our Support division into the Operational Excellence team has enabled us to better serve our customers with improved service and engagement.
  • ASQS Magazine Launch: The launch of our online ASQS Magazine has provided a valuable platform for sharing industry insights, expertise, as well as iQSMS and company updates with our community.

A Look Toward 2025:
Wrapping up 2024, we’re so grateful for an incredible year. Thank you to our amazing team, loyal customers, and partners who made this all possible.
