iQSMS User Conference Vienna 2025

ASQS    /    June 05, 2025

The 2025 iQSMS User Conference in Vienna marked a significant milestone for us – our first conference as a Comply365 company. Held at the centrally located ROOMZ Vienna Prater over two days in May, we welcomed a record number of attendees who joined us both in-person and remotely to explore the latest developments in aviation safety, quality and risk management.
Record Attendance and Global Reach
This year’s conference achieved a record participation with 150 in-person attendees in Vienna and 104 participants joining remotely from around the world on the first day of the event. The hybrid format continues to show its value, allowing our global iQSMS community to join the event regardless of geographical boundaries.
Ilia Kostov, Chief Executive Officer at Comply365

The opening keynote by Günther Schindl and Ilia Kostov provided insights into the strategic vision behind Comply365’s acquisition of ASQS. Kostov emphasized that the acquisition was driven by multiple factors: the strength of the iQSMS solution, deep industry expertise, exceptional team members, and a dynamic customer base.

Comply365 contributes robust training management, compliance, and document management capabilities to the partnership. In return, iQSMS is the cornerstone safety management solution for what Kostov described as the “industry’s first Connected Mission-Critical Platform across safety and compliance for aviation, rail and defense”.

The keynote outlined a vision for transforming safety management from reactive to proactive. As Kostov explained, while the industry has progressed from paper to digital systems, the digital transformation journey continues. “Safety is still very reactive,” he noted. “We collect incidents, then there is some analysis and then there is a reaction.” However, with advances in AI and analytics, Comply365 envisions a future where organizations can better predict vulnerabilities and proactively address them before incidents occur – fundamentally shifting safety management from reactive to proactive.

Quality Module V4: A Significant Leap Forward
One of the conference highlights was the official unveiling of the iQSMS Quality Module V4. This release represents years of development work and is a significant leap forward in iQSMS’ quality management capabilities. The new features shown at the conference have generated considerable excitement within our user community and we are equally excited for the release.

Throughout 2025, all customers will receive the V4 update in carefully planned batches, starting with smaller launch customers.

Data Intelligence and AI Integration

Sam Detzler delivered a compelling “Let Your Data Speak” demonstration of PureIntell by Comply365, illustrating how intelligent data analysis can transform decision-making processes. This powerful tool demonstrates the enhanced capabilities available through our Comply365 company network.

Equally impressive were the showcases of iQSMS’ integrated AI functionalities developed by Lufthansa Industry Solutions and Beams Safety Intelligence. These collaborations have produced practical AI tools that enhance safety analysis and reporting workflows.

Extended iQSMS Talks Format
After a successful trial run at our previous conference, “iQSMS Talks” made a comeback in an extended format. Day 2’s working group sessions offered deep dives into specific topics including the Quality Module Version 4, seamless app integration with APIs, iQSMS Risk+, NextGen iQSMS Reporting, and an engaging “AI Meets Quality” brainstorming session. These targeted discussions and networking opportunities provided valuable feedback that will have an influence on our product development priorities. The participants actively contributed to discussions about implementation strategies, best practices, and future development directions.
Collaborative Success
This conference highlighted the strength of our partnerships and our user community. Special recognition goes to our speakers Amir Farajollahzadeh, Alan Sternberg, and Sam Detzler, as well as Barak Kirmmayer, Adi Silagy, and Tom Puttock for showcasing the innovative solutions from across the Comply365 Group. Additional presentations from Bernd Schönbauer, Khurram Iftikhar, and Günther Syrowatka provided valuable insights into current developments and the future direction of iQSMS.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward as a Comply365 company, this conference highlighted our enhanced capabilities and strategic partnerships. The combination of proven iQSMS functionality, innovative AI features, and the broader Comply365 ecosystem positions us to meet the evolving needs of the aviation industry.

The record attendance and positive feedback confirm that our user community values the collaborative approach we bring to safety, quality and risk management. Until next time, we thank everyone who made this event special, whether joining us online or in person.
