Within companies, different departments often work with different tools to collect safety data, which means that safety information is often tracked multiple times in various applications. Many customers who also use other tools that allow frontline staff to collect safety data subsequently want to manage this data within IQSMS to expand their statistical base or also to further manage this data within the software.

But a complicated data transfer from one system to another and the multiple tracking of safety data may lead frontline staff to not consider it necessary to additionally store the collected data in IQSMS, which can ultimately lead to safety-relevant data getting lost.

With the new IQSMS Import API, we are proactively addressing this issue by facilitating data exchange through an automated, secured and standardized import process which enables our customers to compile data from different internal sources in the IQSMS Reporting Module. This will help clients to work more efficiently and at the same time improve the quality of their safety data, helping them to get a better view of potential threats or actual events that otherwise would partly possibly go unnoticed.

We are already working with software providers to setup an API interface for a standardized data exchange and will announce the respective software providers and applications as soon as the API setup process has been completed.

Of course, it is always our goal not to exclusively work with particular companies, but to partner with providers that are significant and valuable for our customers. Therefore, we would like to work with you to determine which of your other applications we can connect to IQSMS to help you increase the import of safety-related data through an automated and secured process.

If you are interested to work with the Import API or have any questions, please contact us at We are happy to be of assistance and to send the necessary credentials and the technical description for the implementation of the API to your IT department.

Stay tuned for updates!
