We warmly welcome the Norwegian airline Flyr as our newest customer on board.
The start-up launched their first flight in summer 2021 and initially operates flights from its base in Oslo to seven destinations within Norway, as well as Copenhagen, Nice, Barcelona, Malaga and Alicante.
The company, which was founded during the Corona Pandemic, is led by well-known aviation experts with vast experience in different operational areas who aim to provide voyagers in Norway with an effortless and enjoyable travel experience by aligning its size, organization and routing to meet the everyday life after the coronavirus pandemic.
As safety is one of the cornerstones of a smooth operation, Flyr has taken the decision to establish a systematic approach to safety and quality management right from the start, implementing 8 of our IQSMS modules- as well as the offline applications. The digital based airline consists entirely of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. By the End of 2025 the airline plans to operate a total of 28 aircraft. In order to prepare for the planned rapid growth of their business, they will implement SSO and interface with their crew scheduling software.
“Flyr has opted for a multiphase-based implementation, with initial focus on the implementation of the Reporting, Risk Management- and Quality Management Modules. The company also implemented SSO (single sign-on) and an interface with their crew scheduling software in order to prepare for the planned rapid growth of their business. I am happy to be part of this exciting project and to accompany Flyr during the implementation process,” says Ruben Inion, Key Account Manager at ASQS.
“Flyr is very happy and satisfied within the IQSMS Implementation in the Company for Safety and Compliance areas. IQSMS is helping us as a Company with SMS and CMS implementation and monitoring. We are now working with all Departments involving them in the system and using IQSMS different modules and tools. We would like to also highlight the availability and kindness of IQSMS staff to help and assist with all the questions, training, recommendations, etc. that we could have”, Tom-Arild Bogstad, Director Safety & Compliance at Flyr, commented on the collaboration.
