Who we are

ASQS is a highly innovative software provider in the field of Aviation Safety and Quality Management Systems (SMS and QMS).
Our company was founded in 2009. Today, a family of more than 300 aviation companies across the world trusts our product in their daily operation. We collect information about you when you input it into our services or otherwise provide it directly to us.

  • Information you provide through our support channels: Our services also include our customer support, where you may choose to submit information regarding a problem you are experiencing with a service. Whether you designate yourself as a technical contact, open a support ticket through our customer support, speak to one of our representatives directly or otherwise engage with our support team, you will be asked to provide contact information, a summary of the problem you are experiencing, and any other documentation, screenshots or information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.
  • Content you provide through our websites: Our services also include our website, which is owned and/or operated by us. We may collect content that you submit to this website. For example, you provide content to us when you provide feedback through our office e-mail address displayed on our website.

Information we collect automatically when you use our services

We collect information about you when you use our services, including browsing our website.
On our website https://asqs.net we automatically log your IP address as well as the time and date of your visit, the web browser and operating system you use as well as its version numbers using third-party services like Google Analytics. We do this to provide technical support and ensure the safety of our services. We process your data on the basis of our prevailing legitimate interest  to cost-efficiently  generate easy to use website access statistics (Article 6(1)(f) General Data Protection Regulation). This data is stored for up to 12 months and then automatically deleted.

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc.,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA (“Google”) helping us to track visitor behaviour and measure the site’s performance. Web analysis means the collection, compilation and evaluation of data about the behaviour of visitors on websites. The cookies – text filesplaced on your computer – used are called performance/analytic cookies and collect information about your use of this site and enable us to continuously improve the way it works. Performance cookies show us the most frequently visited pages on our website, allow us to see the overall patterns of usage on the site, help us record any difficulties and give us information about the effectiveness of our advertising.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address and the URLs of the accessed pages) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We do not store any of your personal data collected in connection with Google Analytics.

Sharing with third parties

ASQS does not share your information with third parties outside the clearly defined business purpose agreed upon with your organisation.
In exceptional circumstances, we may be required to share information about you with a third party if we believe that sharing is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, including to meet national security requirements, (b) enforce our agreements, policies and terms of service, (c) protect the security or integrity of our products and services, (d) protect ASQS, our customers or the public from harm or illegal activities, or (e) respond to an emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person.

Sharing with affiliated companies

We do not share information we collect other than with affiliated companies, unless explicitly excepted by contractual provisions made between us and our customers. Affiliated companies are companies owned or operated by us. The protections of this privacy policy apply to the information we share in these circumstances.

How we store and secure information we collect

Information storage and security

We collect information globally and store that information primarily within the EEA. We therefore may have to transfer, process and store your information outside of your country of residence. We use state-of-the-art technical measures to secure your data.
While we implement safeguards designed to protect your information, no security system is impenetrable and due to the inherent nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee that data, during transmission through the internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, is absolutely safe from intrusion by others.

How long we keep information

How long we store information about you depends on the type of information, as described in further detail below. After such time, we will either delete or anonymise your information or, if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible.

How to access and control your information

In direct contact with ASQS

When in direct contact with ASQS, for example, through our support channels or our sales department, you have the right to request a copy of your information; to object to our use of your information (including for marketing purposes); to request the deletion or restriction of your information; or to request your information in a structured, electronic format.
In some cases, you may ask us directly to stop storing, using and otherwise processing your information, where you believe we don’t have the appropriate rights to do so.  For example, if you are no longer interested in receiving information from ASQS, you can request that we delete your personal information as provided in this policy.  Where you gave us consent to use your information for a limited purpose, you can contact us to withdraw that consent, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place at the time. When you make such requests, we may need time to investigate and facilitate your request. If there is delay or dispute as to whether we have the right to continue using your information, we will restrict any further use of your information until the request is honoured or the dispute is resolved.

International Transfers of Information

We collect information globally and store that information primarily within the EEA. Whenever we transfer your information, we take steps to protect it.
International transfers within ASQS: To facilitate our global operations, we may transfer information to either Austria or Germany and allow access to that information from countries in which ASQS owned or operated companies have operations for the purposes described in this policy. These countries may not have equivalent privacy and data protection laws to the laws of many of the countries where our customers and users are based. When we share information about you with ASQS corporate affiliates, we make use of standard contractual data protection clauses, which have been approved by the European Commission.

Our policy towards children

ASQS is a highly innovative software provider in the field of Aviation, Maritime and Offshore Safety and Quality Management Systems (SMS and QMS). As such, we offer specialised tools intended for the use within certain organisations and our services are therefore not intended for private use.
This is also the reason, why our services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact our support services.

Changes to our privacy policy

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. We will make any privacy policy changes available to you on this site and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice by adding it to our website or, if applicable, by sending you an e-mail notification. We will also keep prior versions of this privacy policy in an archive for your review. Any personally identifiable information you may provide to ASQS via this Site is protected by the Privacy Policy  associated with this Site. ASQS does not want you to, and you should not, send any confidential or proprietary information to ASQS via the Site. Changes

ASQS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of this Agreement in whole or in part, at any time. Changes in this Agreement will be effective when notice of such change is posted. Your continued use of the Site after any changes to this Agreement are posted will be considered acceptance of those changes. ASQS may terminate, change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the ASQS Site, including the availability of any features of the Site, at any time. ASQS may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of the Site without notice or liability. ASQS may terminate the authorization, rights and license given above and, upon such termination, you shall immediately destroy all Materials.

International Users and Choice of Law

This Site is controlled, operated and administered by ASQS. ASQS makes no representation that materials at this site are appropriate or available for use at other locations outside of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. You may not use the Site or export the Materials in violation of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg export laws and regulations. If you access this Site from a location outside of Ground Duchy of Luxembourg, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. These Terms and Conditions of use shall be governed by the laws of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.
